With Pentium M Processor, AR-M9936 server can deliver outstanding performancethe AR-M9936 can work wired and wireless environments while handling security-processing needs. In addition, AR-M9936 with Pentium-M combines with low power features, extends battery life, and increase the efficiency. As a result, AR-M9936 can be a stable server and OS environment, decreasing deployment time and reducing qualification, support and maintenance costs.

Most of networking solution in high-end solution will use Pentium-IV. With AR-M9936 solution, the CPU will have from 600MHz (fanless solution) to 2.0GHz(L2 cache 2M). It means our customers can choose the scalability of CPU for their appliance using.

As next generation idea, it will follow DDR solution for better performance. AR-M9936 will have DDR solution.

AR-M9936 takes the Broadcom solution in LAN. It will support 10/100 or 1000Mbps. With broadcom solution, it will support auto-MDIX and more stable throughput. For software issue, Broadcom can support Linux and Microsoft as operating system.

For software function, hardware needs to have a by-passed solution in LAN. There are three conditions to provide bypassed LAN.

One is power-off.

Another is system crash.

Last one is system hold.

This function will depend on the customersˇ request. It will be as option from standard product.

This is special design. We combine the advantage of mechanical power bottom and auto-saving function. In other words, our special design can turn off our system safely when we turn mechanical power button to off-position (power will be turned off immediately until all application software and OS system closed) and can boot on automatically when external power system restitute after crash (mechanical power bottom is on position).

The only safe way to turn off our system must open the case and connect to VGA monitor then command OS to turn off system. But, there is no safe way to turn off system if donˇt have VGA chipset.

PXE is one of the components of Intel's workstation to server on a operating system on the hard drive. A PXE-enabled workstation connects its LAN via a BIOS and its NIC.

It is easy to use jump wire or regular LAN wire.

AR-M9936 can redirect keyboard and screen I/O to COM ports, on a BIOS component basis. For example, networking customers will debug by COM as main screen and keyboard.

The redirection path for console I/O is actually selectable on-the-fly under application program control, through Embedded BIOS INT 15h services.

As option solution, LCD will be an interface to control IP address or understanding system status.
